Our Origin Story
ATJ & Regresso was formed in the beginning of 2026 after their collaboration of Drinking Problem with their own TexMex twist, which was released in November of 2025 on Regresso’s Algo Nuevo (Something New) EP.
Their ultimate goal is bringing back the Classic Country TexMex sounds of the 80’s & 90’s with their own interpretation and vibes.
Drawing inspiration from artists and bands like; Texas Tornados, George Strait, Dwight Yoakam and Legendary Latino souls like Vicente Fernandez, Johnny Rodriguez & Freddy Fender.
Their chemistry and charisma on stage will keep you wanting more!
Anthony Taylor Jr. (ATJ) Lead Vocals (Tucson, AZ) has been Honky Tonkin’ all over AZ since he was 17 yrs old and now doing the same in Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas where he now calls home.
Miguel Gomez (Regresso) Vocals/Bassist (Waxahachie, TX) has been performing on stage and organizing large Texas shows since 2021, which has taken him all over the country. With his strong Social Media presence and relentlessness it makes this new duo a force on the Texas and National scene.
